WORKPLACE GIVING
Does your company participate in the United Way, Combined Federal Campaign or Combined Fund Drive Workplace Giving Campaign?
If your company is part of the United Way or Combined Federal/Combined Fund Workplace Giving campaign, most likely they will be holding employee meetings to talk about it in the fall months. There are several ways in which you can further enrich the lives of children and adults with disabilities by supporting the National Ability Center through this united effort.
DESIGNATING YOUR GIFT: Please considerdirecting your gift and encouraging others to direct their gifts – either all or a portion – to the National Ability Center.
- Your local representative can tell you specifically how to make this designation (for example, each local United Way differs).
- Request a designation form and write National Ability Center, Park City, Utah in the appropriate space. (Tax ID #94-3025807)
- For those participating in the CFC (Combined Federal Campaign) you’ll need to indicate code #12350.
- INFORMATION SESSIONS: Share information about the National Ability Center at upcoming events and inspire others. Check with your Human Resources department or person in charge of the United Way or Combined Federal Campaign for your office and ask if there are opportunities to have speakers or information tables at upcoming meetings or workplace giving fairs. If yes, the National Ability Center will work with you to arrange for information on any of the following:
- Information packets to be sent to you;
- Someone to come speak at your meeting or event; and/or
- Support so you can share with co-workers your own personal experience with the National Ability Center.
