“Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.” – Joshua Marine

The National Ability Center is proud to provide competition programs and events designed for children, adults and veterans to challenge their abilities while striving to reach their personal best.  Each year at the National Ability Center, we have more than 100 athletes training with the goal to reach the next level of sport performance and achievement.

Paralympic Emerging and Elite Athletes

The Paralympic Games are the adaptive equivalent to the Olympic Games for athletes with physical disabilities. The Paralympic Games are held subsequent to the conclusion of each summer or winter Olympic Games. As a donor to Team National Ability Center, your support enables emerging Paralympic athletes to train and travel for regional, national and international competitions in the following Paralympic sports: Alpine Skiing, Adaptive Snowboard, Biathlon, Cycling, Nordic, Para-Equestrian and Sled Hockey.

Team Flyers Athletes

Our Team Flyers athletes (previously the National Ability Center’s delegartion for the Special Olympics) supports fitness and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Athletes and their coaches build skill toward competition at local and regional levels.
