Instructors are professionally trained and certified. Instructors with disabilities are used in many aspects of the programs to serve as role models for our participants. In addition, instructors are assisted by interns from university therapeutic recreation and special education programs. Augmenting our professional staff are Adult and Peer Partners who attend experiential training clinics where they are instructed on the proper use and maintenance of adapted equipment, and topics relating to specific issues and needs of individuals with disabilities.
