December 16, 2010 - Three groups of soldiers with the U.S. Miltary's Community Based Warrior Transition Unit - Utah visited the National Ability Center with their spouses for a week of healing.

September 9, 2010 - Over the last three weeks, 22 Del Taco raised $21,000 at its restaurants around Utah. Customers donated with every purchase and placed their name on the walls of the restaurants as another show of support.

December 4, 2009 - The National Ability Center's CEO, CFO and Program Director went to Thailand this fall in the final phase of a State Department International Sports Project grant encouraging accessible recreation and sports programming.

August 3, 2009 - Former Apache helicopter pilot and current NAC cyclist Joe Johnson is riding 1500 miles around Utah to raise money for injured veterans who want to participate in NAC programs.

May 11, 2009 - The 2009 Utah Paralympic Academy will be hosted by the NAC and Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation in Holladay.

March 10, 2009 - The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation awarded the NAC a grant for its horseback riding programs for the summer.

March 9, 2009 - Nicole Roundy and Dan Monzo won two silvers and a bronze (respectively) at the USA Snowboard Association National Championships in Copper Mountain, Colorado this week.

January 9, 2009 - Together with Disabled Sports USA and the Wounded Warrior Project, the National Ability Center will welcome American veterans and their families for a weekend of great activities.

January 7, 2009 - The Western Sled Hockey League skates into town this weekend with four teams trying to take down the NAC's defending champion Golden Ealges after last year's undefeated season.

December 10, 2008 - Day 2 of the Ski Spectacular ended with two more medals for Mikayla Briere and Sam Blakley.

December 9, 2008 - The Ability Ski Team got off to a great start wtih two medals on Day 1 of the Ski Spectacular!
