National Ability Center’s Rjuka to meet War Horse

MEDIA ADVISORY Date: Wednesday, April 23, 2014 Time: 9:15 a.m. – Noon

The National Ability Center is bringing Rjuka, a 6-year-old Norwegian Fjord Horse, to Capitol Theatre to meet Joey, the animatronic equine star of the play “War Horse.” Joey and Rjuka – one of 20 horses used for therapy at the Center’s Park City ranch – will greet patrons and student groups beginning at 10:30 a.m. Rjuka and her trainers will be available for pictures and conversation from 9:15 a.m. to Noon. In the event of inclement weather, Rjuka and Joey will be available in a covered area near the theater.
