JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM!

We need your help to provide life-changing activities to people of all abilities. From lending a hand on the slopes, in the pool or on a bike, to helping in the office or at one of our events, we have many indoor and outdoor volunteer opportunities to suit your passion, abilities and recreational interests.

Volunteer Orientations:

Learn how you can get involved by attending a general volunteer orientation. RSVP is required.

Volunteer Ability Awareness & Behavior Management:

Learn more about different abilities that you might see during your volunteer time as well as how best to manage any behavior changes during a lesson and how best to support in different situations. RSVP is required.

Ski/Snowboard Instructor

Ski/Snowboard Instructor

Ages 18+
This is an advanced volunteer role. Independently instruct children and adults of all abilities to learn how to ski or snowboard, and how to advance their skills.

Runs November-April: Check back in October 2018 for details about our next season

See the job description for more information. A minimum four day training is required, as well as a minimum 20 day commitment for the season.

Ski/Snowboard Assistant

Ski/Snowboard Assistant

Ages 18+
Ski and snowboard assistants work alongside an instructor on ski and snowboard lessons, getting equipment ready, getting on and off lifts, providing support and encouragement during lessons and having fun as well. This is our biggest volunteer need for the winter. We have lessons just about every day of the week from December 1-March25!

Ski & Snowboard Peer Partner

Peer Partner

Ages 11-17
Volunteer with a youth participant 3-5 weeks in a row. Lessons are about 3.5 hours on Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon. Make a friend, have fun and help someone learn to ski or snowboard!

Ski & Snowboard Mountain Guide

Mountain Guide

Ages 18+
This is an advanced volunteer role. Learn how to independently guide intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders around the resort who do not require instruction. Training required. Attending the assistant training first is preferred.

Ski & Snowboard Visual Impairment (VI) Mountain Guide

Visual Impairment (VI) Mountain Guide

Ages 18+
This is an advanced volunteer role. Learn visual and verbal cues to independently guide participants with visual impairments around the resort. Two day training required. Attending the assistant training first is preferred.

Ages 14+
Join us year round to help get participants of all ages in the water and learn and grow through our specialized individual and group lessons.

Summer program day is Thursday from 3:15-5:00pm. Our next training is Tuesday June 12 from 1:30pm-5:00pm.

Challenge Course

Ages 18+
Our challenge course is one of the Top 5 in the nation and runs all summer long. You can start preparing for Summer 2018 by getting involved with our indoor climbing program!

Archery

Our Archery program runs Summer and Fall and help individuals and groups discover the joy, challenge and skills of becoming an archer!

Summer program day is Thursdays Youth lessons run 3:15-5:15 and Adult lesson run 5:45pm-7:00pm. Our next training is Thursday June 7th from 3:00pm-5:00pm.

Cycling (Road)

Ages 14+
Instruct or Assist on cycling lessons for youth and adults in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Join us in helping participants train for Summit Challenge August 25, 2018 and discover more about the joys of cycling with all abilities.

Summer program days are Monday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday in the evenings (4:30pm- on) Our next training is Wednesday June 6th from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

Equestrain

Ages 14+
Empower our participants and help care for our horses. Our equestrian program runs year round Tuesday-Sunday and lessons are 2 hours. Get excited to work with amazing people and horses-
no experience necessary- we go everything in training!

Our next training is Thursday May 31 from 1:30pm-5:30pm.

Mountain Biking

Join us around the trails and help our amazing participants learn about adaptive mountain biking, explore the trails, train for MOFO in September, have fun and be safe!

Summer program days are on Tuesday in the evenings 5:00pm-7:00pm Our next training is Saturday June 9th from 8:00am-4:00pm.

Paddle Sports

Our Paddle Sports (Canoe, Kayak, Paddle Board) programs runs during the summer and fall sessions- Join us out on the lake help our amazing participants learn about different paddle sports, have fun and be water safe!

Summer program days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the mornings. Our next training is Tuesday June 5 from 12:00pm-5:00pm.

We need volunteer to help with para-tri camps, cycling competitions and alpine ski events- let us know if you are interested and our team will be in touch with our schedule!

White- Water Rafting

Our Rafting Program in MOAB runs during the summer and fall.

We have a guide training May 16-21 and a boat crew training to be scheduled in June. We ask for a 3-5 trip commitment- what better way to spend weekends and use up vacation time!
