Volunteer in Park City with the National Ability Center! Outdoor recreation and enriching times are ahead of you as part of our team. The National Ability Center welcomes volunteers year round to assist within a wide selection of opportunities. Recreational programs, fundraisers, outreach events, office help and much more. Be thinking what area you would enjoy getting involved with; Archery, Aquatics, Climbing Wall, Challenge Course, Cycling, Camps, Equestrian, Mountain Biking, Water Sports (water skiing & wake-boarding), Paddle Sports (canoe, stand up paddle board)!!!
Aquatics (14 years +) : Monday April 17, 2017 Assistant (14 years +) 3:00pm-6:00pm Instructors (18 years +) 1:00pm-6:00pm. Our Aquatics training is at Ecker Hills Middle School pool in Park City. Assistants and Instructors help participants on lessons each Monday evening learn new skills in the pool and help them have as well. Come ready to get wet and make sure to RSVP.

Ski and Snowboard Assistant: Wanting to help out on adaptive ski and/or snowboard lessons? Become an assistant and work with instructors and participants to help them meet their goals for the session or season. Saturday March 11, 2017- trainings go from 12:30pm-5:30pm (you only need to attend 1 training) Don’t forget to RSVP -these fill us fast! THIS IS THE LAST TRAINING OF THE SEASON!!!
Mountain Center Office Volunteers: Come help us greet our participants and volunteers, get them checked in, help with getting rentals, day passes, keep things organized and work on special projects. Our current needs for the season: Sunday 8:30am-10:00am, Monday 8:30am-10:00am OR 12:30pm-2:00pm, Tuesday 8:30am-10:00am & 12:30pm-2:00pm, Wednesday 8:30am-10:00am OR 12:30pm- 2:00pm, Thursday 8:30am-10:00am OR 12:30pm-2:00pm,
Volunteer Ski and Snowboard Instructors: Volunteer on a more regular basis as you teach adaptive skiing and/or snowboarding! Read the volunteer ski and snowboard instructor job description!
YEAR ROUND VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Outreach: Did you know…The number one way opportunities at the National Ability Center are shared is by word of mouth? Join us at outreach events and share the possibilities with families, aspiring athletes, veterans and many more who can benefit from our programs. We’ll be hosting information tables at races, farmers markets, expos and fairs, and need your help! Events occur on mornings, nights and weekends, from Park City to Salt Lake, so there’s something for everyone.
Certified American Sign Language Interpreters: We can always use assistance from those certified as an ASL interpreter.
