Discovery Camps

Discovery Camps are available for youth ages 8 – 18 with physical disabilities (Pathfinders), intellectual disabilities (Crusaders) and Autism Spectrum Disorders (Adventurers). Other Discovery Camps include Intro to Camp (ages 6-8) and Siblings Camp, where brothers and sisters have an opportunity to experience everything camp has to offer together. Discovery Camps are primarily day camps, with a few overnight experiences included during specific weeks.

Overnight Camps

Overnight Camps are available for teens and young adults ages 15 – 24 depending on specific camps. Overnight campers stay in our lodge and sometimes get to sleep under the stars in tents on-site. Each room has two twin beds and a private accessible bathroom. Days and evenings are full of fun activities and campers often end the day around the campfire singing songs and playing games.

Camp Vision

Camp Vision is specifically designed for teens and young adults with visual impairments. Participants experience the thrill of recreation during this week long overnight camp. Campers can experience everything from horseback riding to cycling, pedaling on tandem bikes or with experienced guides. Camp Vision is a great match for all levels and abilities.

Camp X-treme

This is an outdoor overnight camp for teens with physical disabilities. Campers can fly down the mountains of Park City on a zip line, ride the alpine slide, ski or snowboard, rock climb and more. This week-long overnight camp is designed to build confidence and self-esteem. Camps are offered in both the summer and winter.

Camp Giddy Up

Camp Giddy Up is for individuals of all abilities ages 8 – 18 who are interested in a horsemanship-focused camp designed to facilitate shared experiences for people both with and without disabilities. Campers will start the day with grooming, riding and barn activities in the morning and then enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity to learn more about horses and riding, while making new friends.

Family & Holiday Camps

These camps offer individuals and families (both adults and youth) opportunities to enjoy outdoor recreation over an extended, overnight stay on our beautiful 26-acre facility in our cozy, on-site lodge. Whether spending the week with a significant other or bringing the whole family, these camps provide an opportunity for loved ones to connect and recreate together. Individuals and families will get to spend multiple days exploring all the benefits of adaptive, outdoor recreation. Camp activities can include: skiing, snowboarding, sled hockey, climbing wall, adaptive horseback riding, swimming, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Meals, lodging, equipment and instruction are included.

Action Camp

Winter and summer Action Camps are designed to support the development of youth and athletes ages 9 – 16, who have amputations and spinal cord injuries. The experience is designed to increase life skills through adaptive sports and recreation. Campers will enjoy Paralympic activities and sports training with our staff, as well as mentorship from emerging Paralympic athletes. Season-specific activities include paddle sports, cycling, Challenge Course, indoor climbing wall, waterskiing/wakeboarding, adaptive skiing/snowboarding and adaptive horseback riding, as well as visits to community partners, such as the Utah Olympic Park and the USSA Center of Excellence.
